Esta visita dinamizada por el casco histórico es una oportunidad para descubrir la importancia de la cultura árabe musulmana en esta ciudad, conocida como la medina al-Munakkab.

VISITA NOCTURNA: PASEO BAJO LA MEDIA LUNA

Almuñécar cuenta con un rico legado islámico producto de los siglos en que los musulmanes habitaron esta tierra. Acercar este patrimonio durante la época estival a sus vecinos turistas y visitantes es el objetivo de este recorrido que hemos denominado “PASEO BAJO LA MEDIA LUNA” 

Con la colaboración activa de los participantes vamos a visitar diferentes espacios ligados a la cultura andalusí como forma de acercarles esa herencia multicultural.

 Los participantes interactuan durante la visita mediante la lectura de textos relacionados con los espacios y monumentos de la ruta.
Recorrido:
  • Palacete neoárabe de la Najarra (Oficina de turismo)
  • Pozo calle Nueva  y Leyenda de la Virgen
  • Casco histórico y exteriores Castillo san Miguel
  • Peñón del Santo y escultura de Abderramán I                                                                                                                                                                      Degustación de cazuela mohína (repostería morisca)

EVENING VISIT: WALK UNDER THE CRESCENT MOON (JULY-AUGUST-SEPTEMBER)

Almuñécar has a rich Islamic legacy from the centuries when the Muslims inhabited this land. The aim of this dynamic tour, called «PASEO BAJO LA MEDIA LUNA», is to bring this heritage closer to its neighbours, tourists and visitors during the summer season. With the active collaboration of the participants we will visit different spaces linked to Andalusian culture . The participants interact during the visit by reading texts related to the spaces and monuments of the tour. Itinerary:

  • Neo-Arab palace of La Najarra (Tourist Office)
  • Pozo Calle Nueva and Leyenda de la Virgen
  • Historical centre and exterior of San Miguel Castle
  • Peñón El santo and sculpture of Abderraman I

Tasting cazuela mohina (Moorish pastry)
